# Connect Claude Cowork to Tesselith

> Let Claude Cowork plan and schedule your social posts as part of longer tasks, using Tesselith as a custom connector.

Canonical: https://tesselith.com/ai-agents/claude-cowork

**Before you start:** You need Claude with Cowork and a Tesselith workspace on Pro, Team or Agency (every new workspace starts with a 14-day Pro trial) with at least one channel connected. Cowork uses the same account connectors as claude.ai; servers from a local claude_desktop_config.json aren't available in Cowork.

## Quick setup

```text
Name:  Tesselith
URL:   https://api.tesselith.com/mcp
```

Already added Tesselith on claude.ai? It's already available in Cowork.

## Step by step

### 1. Add Tesselith as a custom connector

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, click + Add, choose Add custom connector, name it Tesselith and paste the URL. Keep the recommended authentication settings and click Add.

https://api.tesselith.com/mcp
```
### 2. Connect and approve
Click Connect. A Tesselith window opens. Sign in, pick the workspace, untick anything you don't want the agent to do, and click Allow access. For autonomous work, consider unticking delete permissions.
### 3. Decide what Cowork may do unattended
Cowork can run many steps in a row. Keep approval on for publish_now, delete_post and schedule_post, and avoid Allow always for them, so anything public waits for you.
### 4. Give Cowork a task
Describe the outcome, not the clicks: a week of posts from a document, a recap of last week's queue, or drafts for every channel. Review the drafts in Tesselith before they're queued.
## Troubleshooting
- **Tesselith is missing in Cowork:** It was added as a local server in claude_desktop_config.json. Add it as a custom connector instead.
- **Cowork schedules more than you wanted:** Turn approval back on for the write tools, or reconnect with Schedule and queue unticked so Cowork can only draft.
- **The connector shows as disconnected:** Click Connect again on the connector, or remove and re-add it.
## Questions people ask
### Is Cowork's connector the same as Claude's?
Yes. Custom connectors belong to your Claude account and work in claude.ai, the desktop app, Cowork and the mobile apps.
### Can Cowork publish without asking?
Only if you allow it. Keep approval on for write tools; publish_now and delete_post also require Tesselith's explicit confirmation flag.
### What's a good first task for Cowork?
Ask it to turn a long document into a week of drafts across your channels. You review and queue them in Tesselith.
