# Connect Perplexity to Tesselith

**Before you start:** You need a Perplexity account that can add custom connectors (organization admins must allow it) and a Tesselith workspace on Pro, Team or Agency (every new workspace starts with a 14-day Pro trial) with at least one channel connected.

## Step by step

### 1. Add a remote MCP connector

Open Customize → Connectors (or Plugins in the sidebar), choose Add custom → Add MCP connector, then Remote.

### 2. Enter Tesselith's details

Name it Tesselith and paste the URL. Under Advanced, set Authentication to OAuth (or API Key) and Transport to Streamable HTTP. Tick the acknowledgement and click Add.

### 3. Authenticate and enable

Click the connector card to sign in. A Tesselith window opens. Sign in, pick the workspace, untick anything you don't want the agent to do, and click Allow access. Then enable it.

### 4. Research, then schedule

Ask Perplexity to research a topic and draft posts from what it finds, then queue them in Tesselith.

## Troubleshooting

- **No Add custom option:** Your organization admin hasn't turned on Allow members to add custom connectors.
- **Connection fails:** Set Transport to Streamable HTTP under Advanced.
- **Connector added but unused:** Enable it for the thread you're in.
